An exhibition like a sort of amusement park for adults (as well as kids), to think in a playful way about the values of cooperation: not an archaeological dig into the past of the largest organized retail distribution group in Italy, but an exhibition that relies on curiosity to reveal the complex mechanisms behind the simple act of buying something. Through the language of consumers, the story addresses central issues like the social function of big retail, nutritional culture and the importance of defending the supply chain, the possibility of a cultural alternative, changing needs and desires, consumer education, the plural identity of the coop movement and – of course – its history.
